Types of courses

AIP offers different Spanish courses in Valencia varying in duration and in its teaching contents. Select dates and Spanish course and inform your agent or us direclty about your plans.

All our Spanish courses in Valencia are focused on familiarizing participants with the culture, the way of life and the habits of a Spanish city, mixed with the traditions of a typical Mediterranean city.
On the very first day of your Spanish classes we will verify your language skills by doing a test and an oral discussion. Thus we can choose the appropriate Spanish course for you.

Each of our students will be individually monitored by our professors:

• At the beginning we will choose for you the level of the Spanish class which will suit you best.
• We will give you materials, books and every necessary exercises you need to improve your Spanish.
• Individual instructions based on your work results.
• Every necessary information and materials to correct your mistakes, both oral and written.
• Final certificate of your level of Spanish.

AIP Language School follows the European rules of teaching the Spanish language. Our methods are one of the best in the European Union consisting of 10 different levels of Spanish course as written below:

LEVELS OF SPANISH COURSES

INTENSIVES COURSES

• Standard:4 lessons a day (Mon to Fri). All levels start on Mondays on a round-the year basis, except for absolute beginners students. Timetable: As shown at the bottom box of the page.
• Standard DELE: Standard Spanish course plus:
  • 5 additional lessons a week in preparation for DELE (Official Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language– all levels). 100% of the candidates passed last edition!!!
• Standard Business: Standard Spanish course plus:
  • 5 additional lessons a week on Spanish for Business
• Standard Plus: Standard Spanish course plus:
  • 5 additional lessons a week on Spanish Language.
• DELE Plus: Standard Spanish course plus:
  • 5 additional lessons a week in preparation for DELE (Official Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language– all levels). Besides, 5 additional lessons a week on Spanish Language.
• Business Plus: Standard Spanish course plus:
  • 5 additional lessons a week on Spanish for Business
  • 5 additional lessons a week on Spanish Language.
• INTESIVE COURSE IN PREPARATION for D.E.L.E. exams (Official Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language – all levels). 
  For another year, 100% of the candidates passed last edition!!
  
  D.E.L.E. stands for the official certificate of the Spanish Department of Education. It is internationally recognised and it is extremely useful in future terms. Either if you are looking to start a career, getting a better position within your company or intend to study at any Spanish institution or university.
  Description:
  4 daily lessons Monday to Friday. All levels. We go over all the different areas of the exams. Minimum 2 weeks, maximum 4 weeks. We strongly recommend you the 4 week package for being well prepared for the exams, although it always depends, of course, on the previous knowledge of the student.
  Dates:
  Exams are held on May 25th, August 24th and November 9th 2012.
  Three courses a year:
  From April 30th to May 25th; Time: 09hrs-13hrs/15hrs-19hrs.   (last date for exam registration: April 20th)
  From July 30th to August 24th; Time: 09hrs-13hrs                   (last date for exam registration: July 27th)
  From October 15th to November 9th; Time: 09hrs-13hrs/15hrs-19hrs. (last date for exam registration: October 5th)

  Tuition fees:
   2 weeks: 380€ / 3 weeks: 570€ / 4 weeks: 760€ (textbooks are not included in the price). Prices do not include the official taxes for the exams (160 -200€ aprox.).   You will registrate for the exam on the website we will provide you. 

• “ONE TO ONE “
  The total number of week lessons will depend on the specific needs of the student. Every lesson will last for 60 minutes.

EXTENSIVE COURSE

• Standard course (Minimum:2 weeks)
  • 4 Spanish lessons of 50 minutes each session. Twice a week lessons will take part during afternoon time, 1st. group from 3:30 pm to 5:10 pm, 2nd. group from 5:30 pm to 7:10 pm. Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Courses addressed to Valencia University Erasmus students or to students that due to work inconveniencies can not attend to the intensive course
  • All levels start on Mondays on a round-the year basis, except for absolute beginners students (Check out the start dates for absolute beginners).

NOTES:
*Where the situation of not reaching a minimum of 3 students for the standard course is found, the amount of lessons will by reduced by half, offering instead private lessons for the resulting students.
* For other than the standard course, when there is not a minimum of 3 students, the number of sessions will be reduced from 5 to 3.
* Spanish lessons last 50 minutes.
* Maximum students per class 9 (except in July and August, when it might be 12).

HOURS OF SPANISH COURSES

IMPORTANT: On your first day of classes you will have to be here at 8:15 to do your oral interview. If you are late, you will miss the first part of  your classes.
